As a family, we have had an absolutely wonderful, fabulous and most highly spiritual time here in Gimsbach in our old home. Having all the 5 children here has been truly Heaven, such that I can not imagine anything more wonderful. They have been so willing to help out in any way and thinking of more ways than we could even ever think about ourselves. Becky and I are truly blessed to have such wonderful children! The spouses who have helped to allow those that traveled here to be with us during this time are also just wonderful. We have had many opportunities to say thank you and goodbye to many, many people in the area, the hospital and at church.
Last evening we made magical pictures of the family up on the hill with Tawny Campbell, which will add to such wonderful memories.
Of course, there are many uncertainties and worries about the old house here as we are very likely going to be renting until the term of the loan is up in 2015, but we have arranged a rental agency in Kusel giving piece of mind to that worry. Our trip to San Antonio is coming together and reception there seems to be well set up via our good friend, Beate Hall. The ward there is already reaching out. What a wonderful, caring organization the church is and how lucky we are to be part of it. Last night Becky was saying how will be ever be able to thank everyone or "get even", which of course the answer is never, they do not expect it. What we must do--any really that is not new, but to be there for others in their times of trial and need.
